One of my favorite developer-to-developer communication tools is :Gbrowse
, provided by vim-fugitive. This command opens your current Vim buffer, or a line or range, in the hosting provider specified by your remote. It's irreplaceable for quickly sharing code worthy of discussion.
Take this command to the next level with :Gbrowse!
which puts the URL your browser would open into your paste buffer. From there, paste away into your project management tool or chat client, getting everybody on the same (web)page.
