Toggle line numbers in VIM

I often find myself needing to turn line numbers on and off in VIM. I've typically typed out the full

off - set nonumber and on - set number

Theres also abbreviations:

off - set nonu and on - set nu

TIL you can also toggle quickly between on and off by using:

set nu!
